"His skills in capacity building have made him very successful in both the private sector and not-for-profit organizations. I've witnessed and benefited from George's ability to identify the needs of an organization, then skillfully create a roadmap to develop and strengthen teams to achieve the established goals."

Colleague, Internal Client, Producer

"Always flexible and solution oriented, in his role as the hub of talent relations, George was the “glue” between many different departments all with their own goals, diverse agendas and focused needs for key company talent. Somehow, through his organization, clear communication and innovative negotiating he juggled a massive matrix of timelines and deadlines to fill everyone’s needs and kept teams happy!!! No easy task! • stop reinventing the wheel
  • develop new systems
  • make informed decision
  • take risks
  • pivot
  • and carry on!

EXPERIENCE

As a small business owner & entrepreneur, I appreciate and understand that one size does not fit all.

I enjoy and take pride in the exploration to develop bespoke solutions aligned with your organization's culture, growth state & resources.

I am engaged with clients from entrepreneurs & small business leaders, community foundations, regional & national nonprofits, universities, and the US government.

I worked for over 20 years at Warner Bros Discovery as the company evolved from a private to public company, grew internationally, acquired and merged with other businesses, and expanded platforms.

In Internal Communications, I collaborated on new ways to engage employees, and created access to and messaging from executives to create a “One Discovery” culture.

In Talent Relations, I built a global client service organization and managed across a matrixed, hybrid and multinational workforce.  I coached regular people as they managed the change from small business owner, scientist, etc. to become on-screen TV stars as public figures with their own brands entwined with Warner Bros Discovery; and I created and led a Center of Excellence across global operations.

Passionate about nonprofits and community, I began my career at national federation-model nonprofit organizations, where I led capacity building, leader coaching and organizational development, and training with community-based chapter volunteer leaders and in coalitions.

Additionally and in parallel to my corporate career, I provided pro bono consulting and leader coaching to high profile and high potential leaders and professional staff.

I currently volunteer serving on the national nonprofit best practices National Council of the Standards for Excellence Institute, as the Workforce Readiness chair and board of Shenandoah Valley SHRM,  on the board development committee of Friends of the Middle River, and volunteer with the Shenandoah Community Capital Fund.
